 | Center for Hispanic Leadership Announces Sept. 18th Leadership Summit |
Anonymous writes "The Center for Hispanic Leadership (CHL), in concert with national Hispanic thought leaders representing some of the nation's top Fortune 500 companies, will host its First Annual Leadership Summit on September 18, 2010 in Los Angeles. The Summit, themed "Embracing Innovation through Diversity," is designed to explore the role of Hispanic professionals and diversity at large, as well as its impact and influence on propelling innovation in the workplace.
CHL is a Southern California-based organization that provides talent development programs to corporations for the advancement of their Hispanic professionals. CHL Founder, and author of Earning Serendipity, Glenn Llopis, founded the organization to examine the evolving landscape of business that now define the "new normal" and empower the professional growth and talent development of Hispanic employees in the workplace.
This all-day Summit (8:00am - 7:30pm) will represent a collaboration of the most influential and emerging Hispanic leaders across corporate, academia, media, non-profit and small business sectors. Confirmed panelists (to date) include:

"Business sustainability in a global market will require companies to successfully develop and leverage a multicultural leadership structure," says Llopis. The event will feature three keynote speakers, two plenary and six breakout sessions that will prove invaluable to budding Hispanic talent, as they will be able to network with and receive first-hand advice from influential Hispanic leaders who have successfully navigated the professional world.
This Summit will take place in the Junior Achievement Finance Park Mike Curb Center for Free Enterprise at 6250 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, CA, 90068. Proceeds will be donated to Junior Achievement, a volunteer driven, not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating students about entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness, through experiential, hands-on programs.
